December 20 2016 (Saskatoon) -  BlackSun Inc, a Canadian web hosting company, has announced it will integrate the Web Host Manager's Complete Solution ("WHMCS") platform into its websites in the upcoming weeks.  WHMCS is an All-In-One Billing, Support & Automation solution for online businesses ranging from small start ups, to multi-million dollar companies. First launched back in 2005, WHMCS is now a worldwide leader in secure online recurring billing & automation, particularly among web hosts.  WHMCS is a secure commerce platform that allows hosting companies to enhance their offerings and grow their service.  WHMCS will replace BlackSun's existing customer management automation strategy.

"BlackSun is excited to take advantage of the many built in automations for domain name and account setup functionality within this software solution," says Steve Rogoschewsky, CEO of BlackSun Inc.  "The increased efficiencies will enable us to enhance the customer signup and account management experience.  We will continue to offer more products and features through our website, which will now be more organized thanks to WHMCS."

WHMCS also has an extensive marketplace that has attracted many module developers to sell features that web hosting companies can offer to a wide range of clientele.  In the WHMCS marketplace, hosting companies will find approved third-party applications that can maximize efficiency.  With hundreds of add-on applications, WHMCS is expanding their reach but they remain focused on the simplicity of the customer experience in the web hosting community.

BlackSun Announces Secure Computer Backup service called BackupStuff.ca
Posted by Blacksun Steve on 18 June 2015 03:25 PM

June 18 2015 (Saskatoon) -  BlackSun Inc, a Canadian web hosting company, has announced that it has launched a new computer backup service for professionals under a new micro-brand called “BackupStuff”.  The BackupStuff service was created as a means to address the off-premise, secure backup needs of several of BlackSun’s Canadian client base.  The Canadian based encrypted backup system, along with BlackSun's other micro-brands, boast the promise of stronger data security and reliability.  The new product offering is a great alternative over other international backup systems (that may be subject to obscure, international laws).

“We are excited to offer clients an easy to use computer data backup solution",  says BlackSun CEO Steve Rogoschewsky.  “We have partnered with Code42’s ‘Crashplan' service.  Users can sign up for the trial offer and have instant access to backup some or all of their PC or Mac computers in their office.    Geographically speaking, we think that Saskatoon is a great place to put your data."

The data backup service allows both individual home users and business owners to backup their data directly to BlackSun’s data centers.   BlackSun technicians can also install a local backup server on the business premise to offer faster data recovery.   The local server will also securely move the data to the BackupStuff service in Saskatoon.   The data is not only protected in transit by military grade encryption, but also while the data is at rest.  BlackSun has recently upgraded its network security hardware in anticipation of the launch of its new data management services.

The “BackupStuff" brand is the fifth release of "stuff" in BlackSun's "Stuff we do!" specialty products and services division.  The other "Stuff" microsites include:
